WACS
The World Association of Cooks Societies, or WACS in short, is a global network of chefs associations first founded in October 1928 at the Sorbonne in Paris. At that first congress there were 65 delegates from 17 countries, representing 36 national and international associations, and the venerable August Escoffier was named the first Honourary President of WACS. Today, this global body has 69 official chefs associations as members, with three more about to join at the 31st World Congress in March.
Swan TAFE
As the largest publicly funded provider of vocational education and training in the State, delivering training to more than 30,000 students annually across 300 qualifications in a range of study areas, Swan TAFE is a leader in the provision of quality training that is flexible, accessible and responsive to client needs.
A focus on trades delivery together with a diverse range of other VET qualifications means that the college has a key role in contributing to the productivity of WA’s workplaces, addressing skill shortages, providing opportunities for young people, and promoting access to lifelong learning.
The South African Chefs Association
The South African Chefs Association (SACA) is a 31 year-old organization that is dedicated to promoting the art and science of cookery in South Africa and is recognised as the authority on food in the country. SACA is a professional culinary association of approximately 2000 members, with five established branches countrywide.
City & Guilds
City & Guilds is the United Kingdom's leading vocational awarding body, offering more than 500 qualifications in over 28 industry sectors, through 8500 approved centres in around 100 countries worldwide. City & Guilds is the only awarding body solely dedicated to vocational learning. Over 1.5 million learners work towards a City & Guilds qualification every year.
DCT - European Culinary & Pastry, Chocolate Arts Centre, Lucerne Switzerland
DCT is located in the charming village of Vitznau, 20km outside Lucerne Switzerland, directly on the shores of the famous Lake Lucerne. Learners qualifying on certain courses with Capsicum Culinary Studio, are able to further their studies at DCT, without any pre-entry examinations.
Department of Education
We're very proud to announce that the Department of Education of South Africa, has granted Capsicum Culinary Studio the authority to operate legally as a provider of Further Education and Training.
