As the largest publicly funded provider of vocational education and training in the State, delivering training to more than 30,000 students annually across 300 qualifications in a range of study areas, Swan TAFE is a leader in the provision of quality training that is flexible, accessible and responsive to client needs.
THe focus on trades delivery together with a diverse range of other VET qualifications means that the college has a key role in contributing to the productivity of WA’s workplaces, addressing skill shortages, providing opportunities for young people, and promoting access to lifelong learning.
The college has in excess of 1100 permanent full-time and part-time/casual staff across five major campuses (Balga, Midland, Carlisle, Bentley and Thornlie) and four smaller specialist centres (Armadale, Armadale Equine Centre, Wattle Grove and Jandakot). These are located across a large area of the Perth metropolitan region.
As a result of the wide geographical spread, Swan TAFE services a diverse range of learners located across our communities. Added to this, as the largest trade trainer in the State, Swan responds to the training needs of a diverse range of industry groups and niche markets across Western Australia.
If you complete one of our International Diploma Qualifcations at Capsicum Culinary Studio, you will be eligable to study through Swantafe and enrol on an International Hospitality Mangment Diploma.

DCT is regarded as one of Switzerland’s leading Culinary and Hospitality Management Schools.

After my studies with Capsicum, am I able to continue my studies in Switzerland as I believe Switzerland is the centre of the culinary world?
Not only can you continue your studies in Switzerland, we have an association with one of Switzerland’s top Hotel & Business Management Schools, DCT, based in Vitznau outside Lucerne. DCT has a Culinary Arts Centre and provides you with a quality education based on European standards, as set by star rating agencies like Michelin and Gault-Millau.
Our association with this school allows our students, graduating on certain courses, to enter into any of DCT's advanced culinary programmes, without any preliminary examinations.
